Each month we gather for a two-hour long workshop led by John Martin III and members of the Fresno-based groups SAMBA CENTRAL and ESPACIO. this is a group for people that want to play, learn, and explore jazz together....regardless of instrument and still level.....we can meet and play and work on tunes that suit players level of skill and interest and enjoy this incredibly rich world of harmony and rhythm together. if people are interested there are a number of local venues where small groups can also play in pubic to share their joy of music.

The fact is the Central Valley has a ton of great spots to hang out, grab some great food, have a drink, try out a Fresno Happy hour, taste wine & mingle. Sometimes finding these places and having a group to go with is the hard part...So, let's try them out, have some good conversation, meet new friends and most importantly have fun!

We're college students getting our learn on, young professionals paying our dues by working out in the middle of nowhere, or perhaps just affable hobos who can't afford a one-way ticket out of town. Maybe we miss the bigger cities from which we hail, or maybe we're sowing some seeds here just to see if they'll grow. What we have in common is that we are all stuck here in Merced for the time being. Why not come together once in a while to commiserate over food, drinks, movies, events, etc. Period …

This is a group for anyone interested in learning and creating new Choreograph in a group team. We will meet once a month in Sonora or Modesto. We can dress wacky and hip hoppy for dance and learn how to move to the beat of the music precisely. My inspiration for the hip hop Choreograph comes from the man himself "Michael Jackson". Come on and lets move together as a team!!
