This is a Meetup group for instrumental musicians in the Boston area who are interested in reading chamber music together. Whether you play regularly or are looking to pick up your instrument again for fun, all that’s required is a willingness to sight-read new music and meet fellow musicians. Contra dance is a kind of social dance with live music where a caller teaches the figures.  You don't need to come with a partner, and while there is a short lesson before each of our dances it's optional.  Most people learn contra dancing by doing it.
