The Topsfield Congregational Church celebrates its 350th anniversary with a concert on May 19th at the Church on the Common featuring a combined choir, organ, hand bells, trumpet and audience sing-along. Possibilities include the Metropolitan Opera's live HD simulcasts in Rockport, or live theater at the Gloucester Stage Company, or movies at the Cabot Theater in Beverly. This is a meetup group for people who love singing, especially a cappella, and are looking for a fun group of young people to get to know. If you were in a cappella in college and miss it, or would love to try it out, this is the group for you! While reading music is preferred, it's not necessary. We will sing whatever our members want to sing or arrange, so the group will hopefully evolve based on its members.

This group was created to help bring together those guitar players who would love a place to share their music with others. My hope is that we will meet every other month or quarterly at a member's home for a pot-luck meal and open-mic style playing. We are a female a cappella chorus for women who wish to bring music back into their regular routine. Our vocalists are amateur signers from all walks of life -- women just like you!
