This group is for songwriters in the Salt Lake City area so we can get together on a regular basis to work in-the-round and help each other on lyrics and song structure. It will also be a place where we can provide general music business and creative support to each other. And we will have fun doing it!

Monthly get togethers of folks who like to sing folk songs, camp fire songs, cowboy songs etc. Acoustic musical instruments are a big plus. We provide the lyrics and chords of many well known songs and are open to others you may know and wish to sing. We generally meet in private homes for a potluck and BYOB and then sing for a couple of hours on one Friday night a month. We've been doing this under the auspices of the Wasatch Mountain Club since the 90's and we'd love to have you join us.

This is the group for people who like to go out, have a drink or two (sometimes more), while meeting awesome fun people! You don't have to drink (we always need designated drivers)! However, all of these events will take place at venues that allow adult beverages! We might meet up at bars, music festivals, baseball games, have barbeques, etc... The Dances of Universal Peace are a group of simple dances to live music. The focus of each dance is in the singing of a particular sacred phrase or phrases, inspired by a large variety of religious traditions from around the world. No experience is necessary; come alone or bring a friend. All dances are taught to the group each time.

A casual group of acoustic guitar players who will share the journey of learning, performing, and generally expanding our horizons with this wonderful instrument. Performing is not mandatory, but several opportunities will be presented such as open mic's, park jams, and even student recitals.
